ezChinese: Learn Chinese – HSK 1 app for iPhone and iPad

Are you a non-native adult interested to learn basic Chinese with an aim to study in China, or for career advancement? If your answer is “Yes”, then it is crucial to obtain a certificate that is officially recognized in China for academic credits and as a reference for employment advancement. To date, there is only one such official test for non-native adults for the above purposes, i.e. Chinese Proficiency Test - known as the HSK test (English abbreviation for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi). There are altogether 6 proficiency levels. There are several hundred overseas HSK test centres.

EzChinese, with its audio-enabled feature, is designed as a self-learning and revision tool for HSK level 1 - which assesses the listening skills on 300 phrases using 150 words. The content is closely aligned with the HSK 1 syllabus.

Developed by a team of experts from Singapore who are experienced in teaching Chinese as a 2nd language, ezChinese leverages on the linguistic foundation of adult learners. Short and succinct explanatory notes are presented in English throughout the lessons, making learning effective.

With 40 short lesson blocks, you can master 300 useful sentences using 150 key Chinese words at your own pace and your own space.
